“Working at CE has allowed me to take 20 years of learning and experience and apply it to a clean slate, together with the support of eager colleagues who all want to make it work. Not only is it doing work, it’s shaping what CE is going to become. On top of that, it is addressing a critical global need. Each day is packed with a combination of Tetris, Lego, Where’s Waldo, and Chess!”
- Michelle, Senior Reliability Engineer
“I am enjoying working at CE and I’m excited to be a part of a team developing and managing carbon removal projects. The company is full of likeminded, hardworking individuals collaborating to progress DAC technology and climate change solutions. Before joining CE, I worked in the Natural Gas Industry which gave me great experience on large scale projects, but I never really felt a connection to the projects I was working on. Working on projects with CE is always interesting and I feel a greater sense of purpose as we are working towards creating real change at a global scale with our DAC technology.”
- Alanna, Sr. Project Engineer
At CE I have had the opportunity to work and grow with really smart and nice people. This is because CE provides a fast and interesting start-up atmosphere, where priorities can change quickly and one is empowered to adapt and contribute. This setting provides ample opportunity for learning new skills, as well as for gaining a holistic perspective on what it takes to bring new technology to market. We work hard at CE, but it’s very rewarding to learn and accomplish a goal with your teammates – especially as we share a common value of wanting to help address climate change!
- Caroline, Product Chemist
At CE I have designed and tested bench scale equipment, operated our DAC pilot plant, and commissioned our AIR TO FUELSTM system. I now work on the mechanical design of future plants. There are exciting problems to solve at every level of the organization, and there are rarely easy answers. Having to constantly figure things out is a challenge but doing so with a talented and spirited team is my favourite part of working here. I could not ask for a more dynamic or exciting start to my career.
- Trevor, Mechanical Engineer, EIT
At Carbon Engineering, no two days are the same. I get to operate things, fix things, build things, design things, install things, and sometimes even demolish things. And my favourite part? We've got a team of cool canine coworkers at the office every day!"
- Sean, Apprentice Millwright
