If your organization is working towards reduced, net zero, or net negative emissions, our new carbon removal service makes it easy to include high-quality, permanent carbon dioxide removal in your sustainability plan. Our service allows organizations to reserve capacity from a large-scale Carbon Engineering Direct Air Capture facility and purchase the permanent removal of carbon dioxide emissions from the atmosphere. Pre-pay a small deposit for your carbon removal, with the remainder due once the carbon dioxide has been physically removed and independently verified. If you’re interested in addressing your carbon footprint with safe, permanent and verifiable carbon dioxide removal, we’d like to talk to you.
Carbon dioxide captured from DAC plants can be used to produce ultra-low carbon intensity liquid fuels using CE’s AIR TO FUELSTM solution. We are open to best-in-class suppliers and partners in renewable electricity generation, clean hydrogen, fuel synthesis, and plant development to partner with us on commercial projects. We do not currently sell our fuel to the general public, but if you are a refiner, fuel distributor, fuel wholesaler, or industrial fuel purchaser (such as an airline or shipping company) and are interested in renewable and low-carbon fuel supply agreements, please get in touch.
The Carbon Engineering business model is to license our technology to local plant developers and energy industry partners to enable global deployment. If you’re a commercial plant developer interested in licensing, building and owning Direct Air Capture and AIR TO FUELS™ plants, please get in touch.
DAC plants are location-independent so can be co-located with an oilfield or industrial operation to deliver pipeline purity compressed CO2 at point of demand. At large scale, our plants can deliver atmospheric CO2 at $100-150 USD per ton, but if permanently sequestered, our CO2 will be eligible for additional revenue through credit policies, including California’s Low Carbon Fuel Standard and 45Q credits. If you’re interested in purchasing atmospheric CO2 for permanent geologic storage and/or enhanced oil recovery, please contact us.
Captured atmospheric CO2 can be used to produce materials such as steel, concrete, fillers, and coatings. It can also be used in the production of chemicals such as plastics, industrial chemicals, fertilizers, and carbonates, or to create products such as carbon fiber. If you are interested in supply agreements for atmospheric CO2 to make carbon products, we’d like to start a conversation with you.
We are currently engineering the largest Direct Air Capture plant in the world, which will be located in the Permian Basin, US. This project is in parallel to our ongoing work to progress projects in other markets around the world, including Canada, the US, and Europe. If you are a project sponsor or lending institution interested in financing Carbon Engineering Direct Air Capture and AIR TO FUELS™ projects, we want to hear from you.
Carbon Engineering’s Direct Air Capture technology can take a flexible combination of renewable electricity and natural gas to power the system, and our AIR TO FUELS™ process requires a renewable energy source to ensure our fuels have an ultra-low lifecycle carbon intensity. If you are a renewable energy provider interested in power purchase agreements for our plants, please contact us.
Direct Air Capture and AIR TO FUELS™ technologies can both play key roles in helping companies, industries, and economies cut greenhouse gas emissions while enhancing prosperity and competitiveness. We regularly interact with policy makers at various levels of government to provide perspective and data that help inform good policy. We welcome all enquiries from analysts, consulting firms, and government representatives.
We are currently designing and engineering our first commercial plant concurrently with the development of a permanent R&D and advanced development facility. As we progress these projects, we are interested in hearing from equipment suppliers or vendors from the following industries: H2 production, syngas and hydrocarbon production, circulating fluidized bed calciners, solids handling, solid/liquid separations, liquid pumping, piping and valves, process monitoring and metrology, and tank fabrication.
