    Global Mission

Research, development and innovation are at the heart of what we do.

Carbon Engineering is a Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology company founded in 2009 to make capturing large amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere a cost-efficient reality. We have spent over a decade evaluating large-scale DAC pathways and producing critical data and lessons learned that support and validate commercial deployment.

One team. One goal.

Nearly 15 years later, we've united with Oxy and its subsidiary 1PointFive to introduce our technology at commercial scale across the globe, tailoring our approach to meet local needs and contexts. Carbon Engineering's team of innovators continues to advance the DAC core technologies while 1PointFive deploys plants at large, commercial scale. Both leverage decades of carbon management and project delivery expertise as wholly owned subsidiaries of Oxy Low Carbon Ventures.

Our Approach To Collaboration

Together, we can continute to advance
large-scale DAC pathways.

At Carbon Engineering, we believe cross-industry collaboration is the key to the widespread deployment of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. From our Innovation Centre in Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh), Canada, we continue to work closely with a global network of industry partners, research institutions and visionary vendors.

Together, we can continue to advance large-scale DAC pathways and support the industry in improving economics for this critical climate technology.
